Escaped the Slaughterhouse: Meet Dayton the Rooster

 

This brave bird escaped the New Stockton Poultry Market in late September. Dayton was found wandering a busy street outside the poultry slaughterhouse in downtown Stockton. Now safe with us, Dayton will never end up on anyone’s dinner plate. Welcome to the sanctuary, buddy!
