Join the LEAP Program

Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary invites San Joaquin County high school and middle school students to join LEAP, a nationwide humane education experience for youth who aspire to learn about the lives of farmed animals.

Students are required to dedicate to one Saturday of the month through May. In addition, participating students are required to complete at least 4 service hours each month at the sanctuary. Students must have reliable transportation to and from our location to participate in the program.

At the end of the academic year, participants students will have the opportunity to apply for competitive scholarships.

How to apply:

1. Complete the Student Handbook and Student Application.

3. After completing the Handbook and Application, documents will be reviewed by the sanctuary. Thereafter, an interview be will scheduled.

4. Application period is now closed. If selected to participate, students will start the LEAP program in the Fall.
