Help us name our new pig by December 24th!

Have you heard the good news? Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary just grew by one!

Pig, Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary
Help us name the newest arrival at the sanctuary.

A brave survivor of neglect, a sweet little pig who narrowly escaped the butcher’s knife now calls the sanctuary home. On a recent dark, stormy night, she arrived at the sanctuary after quite an ordeal in Sacramento:

“From the frying pan to Front Street! Big HIGH paws to Officer Nelms who saved this little piglet from certain slaughter. Found neglected and abandoned without food or water in the backyard of a home, Officer Nelms saves another one! Property owners were planning a little cook out, but not on our watch!” – Front Street Animal Shelter

Today, our little pig is enjoying her new life us. But, there is one big problem. Our pig needs a name and you can help!

Between now and Christmas Eve, you will have the chance to name this little sanctuary sweetheart. Learn how you can enter our contest:

Step 1: Select the perfect name for the pig (no food references, please)

Step 2: Submit the minimum entry fee of $10 online. For every $10 donation, you will increase your chances of winning the naming rights for our new pig!

On the donation page, input your name(s) idea under the “I want my donation to be dedicated” section. In this section, please write “PIG NAME: (Your name entry}”.

**Entry deadline is December 24, 2014 at 10 AM PST.**

The winning name of the contest will be announced via a drawing at 6 pm on Christmas Eve.

With your help, we hope to raise $3,000 in contest entry fees to benefit our campaign to purchase an animal rescue van.
