Have you heard the good news? Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary just grew by one!
This young feathered lad was found on a busy street in Oakland by a compassionate passersby. Without question, he was an urban-farmed turkey who would have been killed for a holiday dinner. He somehow though escaped that cruel fate on his own.
On Thanksgiving Day, we were so thankful to save a turkey’s life. Today, our new turkey is enjoying his new life us.
Now, our turkey needs a name and you can help. Through the end of November, you will have the chance to name this little sanctuary sweetheart and sponsor him for the holidays

On the donation page, input your name idea under the “I want my donation to be dedicated” section. In this section, please write “TURKEY NAME: (Your name entry}”.
Entry deadline is November 30th, 2015 at 11:59 PM PST. The winning name of the contest will be announced via a drawing on Giving Tuesday (December 1, 2015).
